DevelopmentAid at YouthSpeak Forum

On May 12th YouthSpeak Forum, an event which is part of the Youth4GlobalGoals Campaign, concluded in Chisinau, at Tekwill. DevelopmentAid, a golden partner of the event, held speed interviews and facilitated a workshop on technology for the participating youth.

More than 350 young people participated at YouthSpeak Forum, which is a premiere event that brings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for inspiring conversations around pressing global issues.

DevelopmentAid was one of the top Moldovan private sector companies which supported the event and engaged with the youth to communicate about the opportunities that ICT creates in our home country, as well as abroad while focusing on two Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education; and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

Moreover, DevelopmentAid delegates facilitated a workshop on technology and emphasized the Moldovan IT pool’s global impact focusing on our company’s IT department and the product they have created.

The forum’s aim was to create an environment where people from diverse backgrounds can cross-pollinate ideas, share insights and gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes to push the world forward. DevelopmentAid delegates rolled their sleeves up and helped the youth come up with project ideas during the Action Space workshop on education while AIESEC offered to support the implementation of the winning projects.

The YouthSpeak Forum is part of the Youth4GlobalGoals Campaign – an initiative powered by AIESEC aimed to activate the leadership potential of young people of the world by engaging and mobilizing them through offering purposeful and cross-cultural projects around the globe that are designed to impact and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
