Mihaela Macari works as a front-end developer in the IT department, but she is also a biomedical engineer.
Since graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, she has managed all aspects of the biomedical engineer function, from maintaining the functionality of medical devices in hospitals to negotiating and building relationships with various manufacturers for a medical distribution company.
Mihaela has spent the last few years developing new skills as a front-end developer while being the mother of two wonderful children. Her passion is combining her background in science with her love of programming to create innovative and user-friendly interfaces.
Mihaela has always been fascinated by learning and achieving new skills. This curiosity led her to pursue a career in software development and complete a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering in 2019.
While she was at university, Mihaela went to folk dancing classes, obtained diplomas in massage and hairdressing, and wrote poetry. She also entered engineering competitions so enjoyed spending a lot of time in the engineering lab.
In addition to her professional activities, Mihaela has a deep love for music. Music allows her to calm down, relax after a long day of programming, and be inspired by melodies and harmonies.
Although Mihaela does not now have so much free time, she likes to watch podcasts about fashion, parenting, and programming on YouTube. Because she loves to be challenged, she also spends time after work writing code and learning new aspects of programming.
At the weekend, Mihaela tries to spend as much time as possible with her family and explore different places in our country or abroad.
