#KnowYourColleague – with this series of articles we highlight our colleagues’ hobbies and their stories. We aim to create a safe space where everyone is welcome to bond and share their adventures as we grow as a community.
Our colleague, Natalia Turcan, a Recruiter for International Projects at DRS, is passionate about music in her free time.
Her love for music began at a very young age when, aged seven, she started music classes, learning piano, music theory and choir singing. Throughout the years, her teachers encouraged Natalie to develop her singing skills which is what she did, starting with folk music and classical vocal base training which later helped her to win awards both nationally and internationally. At the age of 13, she released an album featuring 14 tracks. Later she learned to play guitar and the Greek language which to this day make up a big part of her life.
Nowadays Natalia is still involved in lots of musical events, collaborating and meeting with many great people who share her passion and from whom she always has plenty to learn.
Music still feels like magic after so many years and it will always be the way she expresses herself and her spirit.
