Let’s Talk: Machine Learning

During the meetup we will discuss the topic of automation of data collection and analysis for the DevelopmentAid platform. On the basis of a real-world case we will review various approaches to solving non-standard tasks, as well as the entire implementation process. As an example, we will introduce the classificator microservice that is currently under development.

The presentation shows the advantages of machine learning in solving classification issues. We will review the machine learning technology itself, its usage in dealing with the ongoing tasks, the approaches used by the classifier and potential alternatives. In conclusion we will answer the frequently asked questions concerning machine learning, such as ‘what is machine learning?’, ‘Is it worth using machine learning?’, etc.
