Impromptu speaking skills are in high demand nowadays. How many times have we seen a journalist approaching us on the street, and pretended to be in a hurry, because we had no desire to be filmed while getting embarrassed by the complete lack of thoughts and the overwhelming anxiety?
DevelopmentAid, in collaboration with Chisinau Toastmasters Club , is hosting a FREE meet-up that will give participants a chance to learn simple yet effective communication techniques they will be able to immediately apply in their personal and professional situations.
Trainers
Venedict Strisca, current Chisinau Toastmasters Club President, winner of the most recent Area Tall Tales Speeches Contest in Botosani, Romania. Winner of Humorous Speech Contest (Club Level – 2015) Advanced Leadership Bronze (2016), Advanced Communicator Bronze (2018) and Leadership Excellence (2018) awards. Venedict has trained the AmCham Young Professionals Club in Impromptu Speaking Basics, and has moderated multiple club meetings and events.
Margarita Ursu, past Chisinau Toastmasters President and past Vice President for Education, winner of the 2015 Spring contest, member of Toastmasters from 2014, Advanced Communicator Silver and Advanced Leader Bronze. Margarita has extensive experience in training – she has trained the World Bank Moldova, Amcham, National Bank of Moldova group of Department Directors and Governors in Public Speaking basics, tips and tricks for speaking on camera and image development.
Nadejda Mocanu, one of the founding members of Chisinau Toastmasters Club, has mentored over 30 past and present club members (some of them – participants and winners of multiple speech contests). Nadejda has trained the World Bank Moldova, Amcham, National Bank of Moldova group of Department Directors and Governors in Public Speaking basics and has judged many English Speaking Contests.
Diana Motreniuc is the past Chisinau Toastmasters Club Sergeant at Arms, and current Club Secretary General. She has trained the AmCham Young Professionals Club in Impromptu Speaking Basics, and has moderated multiple club meetings and events.
