Married in her 20s, having just graduated from university, Elena followed her husband to London. After living there for three years she decided to return to Moldova to have a "life at home" and she still thinks this was the right decision.
Elena began working with DevAid in 2020 as a Data Entry Specialist in the Data Department before going on maternity leave. She now has a two year old little princess at home but decided to come back to work part-time as Lead Generator in the DRS department.
An ‘active life style’ describes Elena and her family as they enjoy traveling, hiking, being out in nature, culture, music, sport and many many other activities that take them out of the home. Between the ages of 14 to 19, Elena played football and was so good at it that she was summoned to play for the Moldavian Women National Football team.
So far Elena has visited countries such as Romania, UK, Portugal, Spain, Azerbaijan, Sweden, and Belarus with more to be added to the list. Romania is her top destination and she has visited this country at least five times to go hiking and see (vf: Ciucas; Babele; Sfinx; Toaca) and many waterfalls.
